It is becoming increasingly clear that the world's temperature is increasing. In the Netherlands, too, temperature has been on the increase during the last decades and this trend is expected to continue. These changes may substantially impact communities of plants and animals. Climate has a strong influence on the distribution of species. What effects will a changing climate have on an ecologically important area like the Wadden Sea?
