Reductions with a Regenerable Polymer-Bound NADH Model

This thesis describes the development of a polymer-bound 1,4-dihydronicotinamide reagent which can be reused several times in the reduction of different activated substrates. A valuable spin-off of this study was the insight gained in the details of the mechanism of metal ion catalysis in non-enzymatic reductions by 1,4-dihydronicotinamides.
